How Sublimation Works
Sublimation is a full-colour printing process where specialised dyes are transferred into compatible polyester fabric or a specially coated product using controlled heat and pressure. Because the design becomes part of the material rather than sitting as a layer on top, sublimation is ideal for detailed artwork, gradients, photographs, sponsor logos and all-over designs - and it won't crack or peel.

Sublimation works best on white or light-coloured polyester and specially coated products - it isn't suited to cotton or very dark garments. If sublimation isn't the right fit for what you need, we'll recommend DTF, embroidery or screen printing instead.

What is sublimation printing?
Sublimation is a full-colour printing process where dye is transferred into polyester fabric or a specially coated product using heat and pressure. The design becomes part of the material rather than sitting on top, so it's ideal for all-over patterns, gradients, photographs and sponsor logos, and won't crack or peel like a heavy print layer can.
Does sublimation work on any fabric or product?
Sublimation needs white or light-coloured polyester (or a specially coated product like a mug or mousepad) - it doesn't work on cotton or dark garments. If your item isn't a fit for sublimation, we'll recommend DTF, embroidery or screen printing instead.
Can you add individual names and numbers to team kit?
Yes - upload a roster with each player's size, name and number when you request a quote, and we'll confirm layout and pricing before production starts.
Is there a minimum order for sublimated clothing?
It depends on the product and design - each request is quoted individually based on quantity, sizes and personalisation. We'll confirm the minimum for your specific order.
